The St. Andrew Endowment Fund
It is a permanent fund established to support our future growth and charitable activities. The principal of the fund remains in perpetuity, and income is reinvested to allow the endowment to grow. Four percent of the value of the fund, averaged over three years, is distributed each year to the Facilities Reserve Fund which is for major renovations and the Mission Fund which enables new and exciting missions. Our vibrant Youth Group was started with Mission Fund dollars.
Gifts come in all shapes and sizes and are often made from accumulated assets, which may include cash, securities, life insurance and retirement fund assets, annuities, trusts, or tangible property such as artwork or real estate. These alternatives can be classified as direct gifts, life income gifts, gifts of tax-deferred assets and bequests. Gifts can be directed to the Endowment Fund, the Facilities Reserve Fund or the Mission Fund.

Your gifting options are numerous, so you will want to contact your attorney or personal financial advisor for specific advice on what to donate, when to make the donation, where the assets should be transferred, and of course, the implications for your personal financial situation. Each option has benefits and restrictions. You individual situation determines the most appropriate type of gift.
